Bharat QR refers to QR code based acceptance solution provided by SBIP to its merchants for accepting payment from their Customers by scanning of QR code using Bharat QR customer app or UPI app. Bharat QR is interoperable amongst Banks and major Card schemes. Payment can be accepted from the customer of any Bank having Bharat QR customer app or UPI app. SBI ▇▇▇▇ refers to the Mobile Application of the State Bank of India though which customers can either make payment or withdraw cash from the merchants..
Bharat QR is a payment solution developed and operated by NPCI, enabling any person to undertake merchant mobile payments through the use of imaging device readable encrypted codes referred to as QR codes.
Bharat QR means an interoperable QR code based mobile payment solution that adds robust and scalable payment functionality. This solution operates on the principle of "Push Payments" which means that authentication is pushed via the cardholder unlike the present scenario of "Pull Payments" where the Merchant sends authorization request on his EDC terminal. Merchant will receive the payment notification once the payment is completed by the customer. This service can be used by any customer having Visa/ MasterCard/ RuPay Debit and Credit Cards and any Payment application.

  • POINT OF SALE TERMINALS SBI Payments, at its discretion, may provide the Merchant with one or more Point of Sale (“PoS”) terminal(s), consumables and network access controllers and other devices as it considers appropriate so as to facilitate a Valid Card / SBI ▇▇▇▇ / Bharat QR Transactions at the premises or establishment of the Merchant.

  • The Merchant agrees that the PoS terminal/Bharat QR code shall be used exclusively at the Merchant’s premises/location and for the purposes of facilitating Card / SBI ▇▇▇▇/ Bharat QR transactions in connection with purchase of goods or services for which the Merchant has been signed up and for no other purpose whatsoever in a legalenvironment.
