Benefit Hours definition

Benefit Hours means, with respect to a Participant, each Hour of Service determined by treating service taken into account under the First Ohio Plan, as if it were service for the Employer.

Examples of Benefit Hours in a sentence

  • Staff with a disability that qualifies for short term disability, who do not have enough sick leave hours available to cover the waiting period prior to short term disability leave may draw up to 10 days per event from the Short Term Disability Benefit Hours Pool to cover that portion of the waiting period for short term disability.

  • Non-carryover hours will be contributed to a Short Term Disability Benefit Hours Pool at the beginning of each calendar year that will accumulate up to a maximum of 800 hours.
