Behind-the-Meter definition
Behind-the-Meter means the sale of electricity from a Renewable Low-Impact Electricity Generation Facility which is directly connected to a load without using NS Power’s transmission or distribution facilities, including NS Power’s meter installed at the Premises. For greater certainty, the electricity that is sold from a Renewable Low-Impact Electricity Generation Facility to a directly-connected party is Behind-the-Meter, while electricity that is sold from the same facility to another party through the use of NS Power’s transmission or distribution facilities is not Behind-the-Meter.
Behind-the-Meter means a Project for which Option C, Option D, or Option E is selected in Section 1.01(b).
Behind-the-Meter means an electrical generation and/or electrical power storage system, such as a solar PV system with or without battery storage, that produces power intended primarily for on-site use in a home, office building, or other commercial, industrial, or institutional facility. The solar PV system is behind the electric meter on the owner’s property, not on the electric grid/utility.

Behind-the-Meter means “that the load is con- nected directly to a power generation entity, i.e., a wind farm, and transmits power to the load before transmitting power to the grid.” J.A. 10 ¶ 31.
Behind-the-Meter or “BTM” means, in the context of DERs, a resource that is indirectly connected to the distribution system behind a customer’s electricity meter.

Behind-the-Meter kWh generation shall be credited second, after PSREC Community Solar kWh generation.
Behind-the-Meter means that only 3 GW offshore wind is connected to the energy island. Any additional wind production (overplanting) must be accomplished by an equal amount of consumption from, e.g., PtX production. This means that in normal operation the overplanting will not influence the stability of the energy island.
Behind-the-Meter. Generation. If at any time during the Term of this Agreement “behind- the-meter” generation is installed for a participating building, the following provisions apply:
a. PSREC Community Solar generation shall be credited to energy bills by PSREC as primary and “behind-the-meter” generation shall be credited to energy bills by PSREC as secondary.
