BCI background check definition

BCI background check means a search of local, county, and state police, court, and criminal records conducted by the Bureau of Criminal Identification or a similar agency and information acquired from such a search.
BCI background check means an original or copy, dated no older than 180 days prior to the date of the Application, of both:

  • If Agency is a private, non-government agency, Agency agrees that, prior to permitting an individual to access, disseminate or otherwise use National WebCheck information, Agency shall conduct, at its own expense, a BCI background check on that individual.

  • BCI background check, CPR and Coaches Certification, regular attendance at mandatory coaching meetings held by Director of Athletics and attendance at mandatory OHSAA rules interpretation meetings are all mandatory.

  • Educators who are renewing a license or permit and have lived continuously in the State of Ohio for the previous five years, and have a BCI background check on file with ODE, will need to complete only an FBI criminal background check once every five years.
