Basilar Crackles, definition

Basilar Crackles, sometimes called "rales," shall mean those sounds described in American Thoracic Society, "The Diagnosis of Nonmalignant Diseases Related to Asbestos," 134 American Review of Respiratory Disease 363(1986), and shall be observed in accordance with the criteria set forth therein.
