basic material assistance definition

basic material assistance means goods which fulfil the basic needs of a person for a life with dignity, such as clothing, hygiene goods, including feminine hygiene products, and school material;
basic material assistance means basic consumer goods of a limited value and for the personal use of the most deprived persons for example clothing, footwear, hygiene goods, school material and sleeping bags;

  • Substantial Assistance means the physical assistance of another person without which you would not be able to perform an activity of daily living; or the constant presence of another person within arm’s reach that is necessary to prevent, by physical intervention, injury to you while you are performing an activity of daily living.

  • Rental Assistance or “Subsidy” means Gross Rent minus the sum of the utility allowance and the Eligible Household’s payment of 30% of their monthly net income.
