Band Land definition

Band Land means the lands located and occupied by the Mowachaht/Muchalaht First Nations at Tsaxana Indian Reserve 18.
Band Land means all lands now held or hereafter acquired in trust by the United States of America for the benefit of the Band.
Band Land means all real property which is held in trust for the benefit of the Band or owned in fee by the Band upon which a Development is located.

  • The notice to comply or quit shall state that the Band or Lessor, as applicable, may proceed to evict the Lessee or any other person or entity from occupation of the Band Land by action in the Tribal Court if the notice to comply or quit, as applicable, is not complied with in the time specified.

  • The Tribal Court shall have personal jurisdiction over all persons and entities with respect to any conduct, transaction or matter, governed by this Act, regardless of whether the person or entity resides or maintains a place of business within Band Land.

  • Any Mortgagor who grants a Leasehold Mortgage with respect to a Band Land or a Housing Unit, shall notify the Band of the name and address of the Mortgagee, and shall consent to the Band contacting the Mortgagee and obtaining information from the Mortgagee with respect to such Leasehold Mortgage.

  • All Leasehold Mortgages recorded with respect to Band Land pursuant to Section 10.01(d) of this Act, including loans involving any Surety, shall have priority over any lien not perfected at the time of such recording and any subsequent lien or claim (except a lien or claim arising from any Band leasehold tax assessed after the recording of the Mortgage).
