Auxiliary meaning an employee who is employed for work which is not of a continuous nature. "Employee" does not include managerial or confidential positions mutually excluded by the parties to this Agreement or by decision of the Labour Relations Board.
Digital network means any online-enabled technology application service, website or system offered or utilized by a transportation network company that enables the prearrangement of rides with transportation network company drivers.
Switchblade knife means a knife containing a blade or blades which open automatically by the release of a spring or a similar contrivance.
Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN means a switched network service that provides end-to-end digital connectivity for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data. Basic Rate Interface-ISDN (BRI-ISDN) provides for a digital transmission of two (2) 64 Kbps bearer channels and one (1) 16 Kbps data channel (2B+D).
Synchronous Optical Network (SONET means the optical interface standard that allows inter-networking of transmission products from multiple vendors. The base rate is 51.84 Mbps (“OC 1/STS 1”) and higher rates are direct multiples of the base rate, up to 13.22 Gbps.
Network Services means any services provided by a Network provider and which are made accessible to the Customer in terms of this agreement;

Non-Network means any hospital, day care centre or other provider that is not part of the network.
Network has the meaning ascribed to it in Part A of the Network Code;
Motorized wheelchair means any self-propelled vehicle designed for, and used by, a handicapped person and that is incapable of a speed in excess of eight miles per hour.
Wireless means telecommunications in which electromagnetic waves (rather than some form of wire) carry the signal over part or the entire communication path. The distances involved may vary in length; and
Interface means the mixture occurring in pipeline operations between adjoining batches having similar or dissimilar physical characteristics.
CDMA means code division multiple access.
Network Resource shall have the meaning as provided in the NYISO OATT, for such resources located in New York, and the meaning as provided in the PJM OATT, for such resources located in PJM.
Satellite means any satellite owned by the Issuer or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries and any satellite purchased by the Issuer or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries pursuant to the terms of a Satellite Purchase Agreement, whether such satellite is in the process of manufacture, has been delivered for launch or is in orbit (whether or not in operational service).
Subsystem means a functional grouping of items that combine to perform a major function within an end item, such as electrical power, attitude control, and propulsion.
Online Services means Microsoft-hosted services to which Customer subscribes under this Agreement. It does not include software and services provided under separate license terms.
telecommunications network means a system, or series of systems, that carries, or is capable of carrying, communications by means of guided or unguided electromagnetic energy, or both. "temporary structure" has the same meaning as in the Act.
Mobile means any mobile delivery technology including 3G, 3.5G, 4G, 5G cellular technology, and any subsequent generation technology, edge, DVBH or DMB which is or may be used with radio frequency spectrum in any band, to enable or facilitate transmission of textual material, data, voice, video and/or multimedia service to any device (whether now known or hereafter developed) which is capable of receiving and/or sending voice and/or data and/or video communications by means of a device which is designed primarily as a portable device.
Network Rail means Network Rail Infrastructure Limited and any associated company of Network Rail Infrastructure Limited which holds property for railway purposes, and for the purpose of this definition “associated company” means any company which is (within the meaning of section 1159 of the Companies Act 2006(a) the holding company of Network Rail Infrastructure Limited, a subsidiary of Network Rail Infrastructure Limited or another subsidiary of the holding company of Network Rail Infrastructure Limited;
Kitchenware means food preparation and storage utensils.
business vertical means a distinguishable component of an enterprise that is engaged in the supply of individual goods or services or a group of related goods or services which is subject to risks and returns that are different from those of the other business verticals.
Open Wireless Network means any network or segment of a network that is not designated by the State of New Hampshire’s Department of Information Technology or delegate as a protected network (designed, tested, and approved, by means of the State, to transmit) will be considered an open network and not adequately secure for the transmission of unencrypted PI, PFI, PHI or confidential DHHS data.
Roaming means cellular communications services (e.g., voice, video, data) received from a visited network when unable to connect to the facilities of the home network either because signal coverage is too weak or because traffic is too high.
