Authorized installer definition
Authorized installer means a person or entity appointed by a manufacturer, and certified by the Department, to install and service a certified ignition interlock device model provided by the manufacturer.
Authorized installer means any individual or entity that equips a vehicle or engine with a hybrid conversion system with the authorization of the party that holds the California Air Resources Board (ARB) Executive Order for such hybrid conversion system.
