WURA means the Winding-Up and Restructuring Act (Canada).
DEM means the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.
DAS means the State of Oregon acting through its Department of Administrative Services.
CHDO means a Community Housing Development Organization, as defined in the 2013 HOME regulations at 24 CFR Part 92. CHDO “Owner”, “Developer”, and “Sponsor” are specifically defined therein.
Local Committee means the Local Complaints Committee constituted under section 6;
SAHRC means the South African Human Rights Commission.
CJA means the Courts of Justice Act, RSO 1990, c C-43, as amended;
IRDAI means the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India.
ALS means amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
€STR means, in respect of any TARGET Business Day, the interest rate representing the wholesale Euro unsecured overnight borrowing costs of banks located in the Euro area provided by the European Central Bank as administrator of such rate (or any successor administrator) and published on the Website of the European Central Bank (as defined below) at or before 9:00 a.m. (Frankfurt time) (or, in case a revised euro short-term rate is published as provided in Article 4 subsection 3 of the ECB €STR Guideline at or before 11:00 a.m. (Frankfurt time), such revised interest rate) on the TARGET Business Day immediately following such TARGET Business Day;
Roentgen means the special unit of exposure. One roentgen (R) equals 2.58 × 10-4 coulombs/kilogram of air (see “Exposure” and 38.4(4)).
IST means Indian Standard Time.
Ag means silver.
AHPRA means The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. AHPRA is responsible for regulating Australia’s registered health practitioners.
Bystander means a person who observes a crime, impending crime, conflict, potentially violent or violent behavior, or conduct that is in violation of rules or policies of an institution.
Lazard means Lazard & Co., Limited;
MARO mean "months after the effective date for award of the contractual action (as shown in block 3, Section A, SF 26)".
CJER means the Judicial Council’ Education Division Center for Judicial Education and Research, which is the Judicial Council organization administering the Program.
local council means a local council established under the Local Government Act, 2004;
DAC or “PAC” means, the Departmental/Programme Academic Committee.
FIU means the Financial Intelligence Unit of Trinidad and Tobago established under section 3 of the Financial Intelligence Unit of Trinidad and Tobago Act;
DER means a distribution equivalent right, representing a contingent right to receive an amount in cash, Units, Restricted Units and/or Phantom Units equal in value to the distributions made by the Partnership with respect to a Unit during the period such Award is outstanding.
EUWA means the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018;
ESMA means the European Securities and Markets Authority;
local community means any community of people living or having rights or interests in a distinct geographical area;
SAQA means the South African Qualifications Authority established by section 3 of the South African Qualifications Authority Act, 1995 (Act 58 of 1995);
