Attorney-in-Fact means an agent under a power of attorney pursuant to chapter 633B or an attorney in fact under a durable power of attorney for health care pursuant to chapter 144B.
Attorneys means the Attorneys stipulated in clause 4 of the Covering Schedule;
6.-(1) In this Act an earlier trade mark” means -
(1) In this Act employee” means an individual who has entered into or works under (or, where the employment has ceased, worked under) a contract of employment.
In this Act development’ means, except where the context otherwise requires, the carrying out of works on, in, over or under land or the making of any material change in the use of any structures or other land.”
Attorney means, if appointed to represent a child under the provisions referenced in section 5213, an attorney serving as the child's legal advocate in the manner defined and described in section 13a of chapter XIIA of the probate code of 1939, 1939 PA 288, MCL 712A.13a.
attorney-at-law means an attorney-at-law, a legal practitioner or advocate duly admitted to practise law in the courts of a Contracting Party;
Attorneys’ Fees and Expenses means such funds as may be awarded to Class Counsel by the Court to compensate them (and all other attorneys for Plaintiff or the Settlement Class) for their fees and all expenses incurred by Plaintiff or Class Counsel in connection with the Litigation.
ATTORNEY REVIEW The Purchaser acknowledges that Purchaser has had the opportunity to consult with its legal counsel regarding this Agreement and that accordingly the terms of this Agreement are not to be construed against any party because that party drafted this Agreement or construed in favor of any Party because that Party failed to understand the legal effect of the provisions of this Agreement.
Reasonable in the circumstances means using no more force than is needed.
Investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information about a natural person's character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with the person's neighbors, friends, associates, acquaintances, or others who may have knowledge concerning such items of information.
Expert witness or “expert” means a person who is retained to render an opinion regarding an issue relevant to a case, whether or not the person actually testifies in court.
the/this Agreement means the agreement as set out in this document and the Appendices hereto;
the 1961 Act means the Land Compensation Act 1961(d); “the 1965 Act” means the Compulsory Purchase Act 1965(e); “the 1980 Act” means the Highways Act 1980(f);
Related Bodies Corporate has the meaning given to that term in the Corporations Xxx 0000 (Cth).
Grandparent means the parent of an Employee’s Parent.
Son or daughter means a biological, adopted, or foster child, a stepchild, a legal ward, or a child of a person standing in loco parentis, who is under 18 years of age, or is 18 years of age or older and incapable of self-care because of a mental or physical disability.
Judicial Branch Entities means any California superior or appellate court, the Judicial Council of California, and the Habeas Corpus Resource Center.
Attorneys’ Fees means the full and actual cost of any legal services actually performed in connection with the matter involved calculated on the basis of the usual fee charged by the attorney performing such services and shall not be limited to "reasonable attorneys' fees" as defined in any statute or rule of court.

And whereas The Lessee wishes to lease the Leased Premises from the Lessor in unprotected lease and to sign the Management Agreement, inter alia, as stated hereunder, and the Appendixes of this Agreement in accordance with the provisions set forth in this Agreement;
Indemnified Parties has the meaning set forth in Section 8.2.
Participating attorney means an attorney who is authorized to participate in the title guaranty program, who is in full compliance with the attorney’s participation agreement, the Code of Iowa, these rules, the manual, staff supplements, and any other written or oral instructions or requirements given by the division, and who is not subject to current disciplinary proceedings by the Iowa supreme court that preclude the attorney from practicing law in this state.
Disbursements shall include, but not be limited to, costs of travel, telephone, copying, fax transmission, depositions, investigators, messengers, mediation expenses, computer research fees, court fees, expert fees, other consultation fees and paralegal expenses. Any recovery in the Litigation shall first be used to reimburse disbursements.
County Attorney means the County Attorney of the County of Suffolk.
Experts means, collectively, Key Experts, Non-Key Experts, or any other personnel of the Consultant, Sub-consultant or Joint Venture member(s).
