Project affected persons (PAPs) means persons who, for reasons of the involuntary taking or voluntary contribution of their land and other assets under the project, result in direct economic and or social adverse impacts, regardless of whether or not the said Project affected persons physically relocate. These people may have their:
Non-Affected Party means, so long as there is only one Affected Party, the other party.
Affected area means a geographical area, excluding the property of the Development;
Affected land means the area of land from which overburden has been removed or upon which overburden has been deposited or land which has otherwise been disturbed, changed, influenced, or altered in any way in the course of mining, including processing and stockpile areas but not including roads.
Affected means persons, baggage, cargo, containers, conveyances, goods, postal parcels or human remains that are infected or contaminated, or carry sources of infection or contamination, so as to constitute a public health risk;
Basal area means the effective surface area available to transmit the treated effluent from the filter media in a mound system into the in-situ receiving soils. The perimeter is measured at the interface of the imported fill material and in-situ soil. On sloping sites, only the area down-gradient from the up-slope edge of the distribution media may be included in this calculation.
Site Improvements means any construction work on, or improvement to, streets, roads, parking facilities, sidewalks, drainage structures and utilities.
Affected facility means, with reference to a stationary source, any apparatus to which a standard is applicable.
Rentable Area of Premises on Page 1 of the Lease shall be deleted in their entirety and replaced with the following:
Affected county means a county of 3,000,000 or more
Area A means the area marked “Area A” outlined in red on the Plan (excluding that part shaded grey on the Plan);
Developed Land means all Developable Land of the Company and its Restricted Subsidiaries which is undergoing active development or is ready for vertical construction.
Area of shallow flooding means a designated AO or AH Zone on a community's Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) with one percent or greater annual chance of flooding to an average depth of one to three feet where a clearly defined channel does not exist, where the path of flooding is unpredictable and indeterminate; and where velocity flow may be evident. Such flooding is characterized by ponding or sheet flow.
Improvement Plan means the plan required by the Authority from the Supplier which shall detail how the Supplier will improve the provision of the Goods and/or Services pursuant to Clause 29.1.1 (Authority Remedies);
Built-Up Area and/or “Covered Area” in relation to a Flat shall mean the floor area of that Flat including the area of balconies and terraces, if any attached thereto, and also the thickness of the walls (external or internal) and the columns and pillars therein Provided That if any wall, column or pillar be common between two Flats, then one-half of the area under such wall column or pillar shall be included in the built-up area of each such Flat.
Affected Assets means, collectively, the Receivables and the Related Security, Collections and Proceeds relating thereto.
Improvements means the buildings, structures, improvements, and alterations now constructed or at any time in the future constructed or placed upon the Land, including any future replacements and additions.
Area of Interest means the area described in Part 2 of Exhibit A.
ILUA Area means the geographical area in relation to which the Framework ILUA applies, as specified in Schedule 2 of the Framework ILUA;
Flood Boundary and Floodway Map (FBFM means an official map of a community, issued by the FEMA, on which the Special Flood Hazard Areas and the floodways are delineated. This official map is a supplement to and shall be used in conjunction with the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM).
Action area means all areas to be affected directly or indirectly by the Federal action and not merely the immediate area involved in the action (50 CFR 402.02).
Undeveloped Land means, (i) all Real Property set forth on Schedule 1.01D to the 2008 Credit Agreement, (ii) all undeveloped land acquired after the Closing Date and (iii) any operating property of the Borrower or any Subsidiary that is subject to a casualty event that results in such property ceasing to be operational.
Affected Property means all real property at the Site and any other real property where EPA determines, at any time, that access or, land, water, or other resource use restrictions, and/or Institutional Controls are needed to implement the removal action, including, but not limited to, the following properties [insert property descriptions].
Natural area means an area of the rural or non-urban environment which is in an unspoilt natural state or is of high scenic value, and includes, but is not limited to, national parks, game reserves, nature reserves, marine reserves, wilderness areas, areas of extensive agriculture and scenic areas;
Capital Addition means, with respect to any Property, any renovation, repair or improvement to such Property, the cost of which constitutes a Capital Expenditure.
Detached building means a building whose walls and roof are independent of any other building with open spaces on all sides;
