No deviations from the Drawings and Specifications will be allowed without the prior written approval of the Architect or engineer of record.
Architect or Engineer means an individual, firm, partnership, association, properly qualified person or the legally authorized representative(s), designated by the Owner, experienced in and legally qualified to practice the profession involved for the administration of the contract, inspections and testing. The term shall apply to the Owner when the Owner is acting as its own Architect or Engineer.
Architect of Record means the architect licensed by the State who has the contract responsibility for the Project, who designs and prepares the construction documents from which the building is constructed, and who signs the required documents.
Architect/Engineer (A/E means a person registered as an architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Ann., Ch. 1051, as a landscape architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Ann., Ch. 1052, a person licensed as a professional engineer pursuant Tex. Occ. Code Ann., Ch. 1001, and/or a firm employed by Owner or Design-Build Contractor to provide professional architectural or engineering services and to exercise overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, and to perform the contract administration responsibilities set forth in the Contract.
Teacher of record means a teacher who meets all of the following:
Owner of record The meaning set forth in the System Description.
Operation of a System of Records means performance of any of the activities associated with maintaining the SOR, including the collection, use, maintenance, and dissemination of records.
Geotechnical engineer means a professional engineer registered with the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of the Northwest Territories and whose principal field of specialization is the design and construction of earthworks in a permafrost environment;
Civil engineer means a professional engineer registered in the State of California to practice in the field of civil works.
Superintending Engineer means the In-charge Superintending Engineer of the Institute, who as overall In-charge and head of the Institute Works Department shall direct the contract.
Lot of record means any lot, the description of which is properly recorded with the Register of Deeds, which at the time of its recordation complied with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations.
Professional Engineer or Professional Certificated Engineer means a person holding registration as either a Professional Engineer or Professional Certificated Engineer in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000 (Act No. 46 of 2000);
System of records means a group of any records under the control of any agency from which information is retrieved by the name of the individual or by some identifying number, symbol, or other identifying particular assigned to the individual.
Architect/Engineer or “A/E” means the Person identified in the Agreement responsible for providing professional design services and construction contract administration for the Project. The A/E shall be (1) a registered architect holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Architects Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4703, (2) a landscape architect holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Landscape Architects Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4703, or (3) a professional engineer or professional surveyor holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Engineers and Surveyors Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4733. As used in the Agreement, the term A/E may include a criteria architect or engineer for a Design-Build project.
Retailer of Record means the Retailer who is listed in EDTI’s records through the procedures outlined in these Terms and Conditions, and thereby recognized by EDTI and the Settlement System Code, as a particular Customer’s Retailer for a Point of Service at a particular time;
Structural Engineer means the Engineer appointed or to be appointed from time to time by Promoter for the preparation of the structural design and drawings of the buildings .
Site Engineer means an Engineer appointed by the SBIIMS at site as their representative for day-to-day supervision of work and to give instructions to the contractors.
Engineers Certificate" shall mean a certificate of the Consulting Engineers or of such other engineer or firm of engineers having a favorable repute for skill and experience in the engineering matters with respect to which such certification is required by this Master Indenture.
SBI Engineer means The Civil/Electrical Engineer in-charge of the Project, as nominated by the AGM (P&E), SBI, RAJKOT
Architect means the person or other entity engaged by the PHA to perform architectural, engineering, design, and other services related to the work as provided for in the contract. When a PHA uses an engineer to act in this capacity, the terms “architect” and “engineer” shall be synonymous. The Architect shall serve as a technical representative of the Contracting Officer. The Architect’s authority is as set forth elsewhere in this contract.
Architects means any Architect whom the Vendors and the Builder have appointed as the Architects for the Project / Buildings time to time.
Registered professional engineer means a person who is registered as a professional engineer pursuant to s. 443.04, Stats.
Customer of Record means the person that applies for utility service and is identified in the account records of a public utility as the person responsible for payment of the public utility bill. A customer may or may not be an end user, as defined herein.
Approved Petroleum Engineers means (a) Netherland, Xxxxxx & Associates, Inc., (b) Xxxxx Xxxxx Company Petroleum Consultants, L.P. and (c) any other independent petroleum engineers reasonably acceptable to the Administrative Agent.
Approved Petroleum Engineer means any reputable firm of independent petroleum engineers as shall be selected by Borrower and approved by Administrative Agent, such approval not to be unreasonably withheld.
City Engineer means the person appointed to the office of City Engineer, by Council, acting, either directly or through authorized staff acting severally within the scope of the particular duties entrusted to them.
Value Engineering means the detailed analysis of systems, equipment, materials, services, facilities, and supplies required by the Contract Documents for the purpose of achieving the desired and essential functions of the Owner’s program at the lowest cost consistent with required and necessary performance, longevity, reliability, quality and safety.
