Aquiclude definition

Aquiclude means a formation that stores water, but does not transmit significant quantities of water, and which is often referred to as a confining interval.
Aquiclude means a saturated but poorly permeable formation that may transmit water to or from adjacent aquifers. ‘Aquitard’ means a geologic formation through which virtually no water moves.
