Related to Approved LDBC Standard
Board means the Board of Directors of the Company.
Department means the department of natural resources.
Person means any individual, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, joint venture, association, joint-stock company, trust, unincorporated organization or government or any agency or political subdivision thereof.
Independent School Standards means the independent school standards prescribed under section 157 of the Education Act 2002.
CAISO-Approved Meter means any revenue quality, electric energy measurement meter furnished by Seller, that (a) is designed, manufactured and installed in accordance with the CAISO’s metering requirements, or, to the extent that the CAISO’s metering requirements do not apply, Prudent Electrical Practices, and (b) includes all of the associated metering transformers and related appurtenances that are required in order to measure the net electric energy output from the Generating Facility.
Renewable Portfolio Standard or “RPS” means a state or federal law, rule or regulation that requires a stated amount or minimum proportion or quantity of electricity that is sold or used by specified persons to be generated from Renewable Energy Sources.
Applicable Standards means all applicable engineering and safety standards governing the installation, maintenance and operation of facilities and the performance of all work in or around electric Utility Facilities and includes the most current versions of National Electric Safety Code (“NESC”), the National Electrical Code (“NEC”), and the regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”), each of which is incorporated by reference in this Agreement, and/or other reasonable safety and engineering requirements of the Utility (“Utility’s Construction Standards”) or other federal, state or local authority with jurisdiction over Utility Facilities.
MAI Standards Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice established for Members of the Appraisal Institute.
Approved laboratory means an American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD) accredited laboratory or the National Veterinary Services Laboratory, Ames, Iowa.
Standard Letter of Credit Practice means, for Issuing Bank, any domestic or foreign law or letter of credit practices applicable in the city in which Issuing Bank issued the applicable Letter of Credit or, for its branch or correspondent, such laws and practices applicable in the city in which it has advised, confirmed or negotiated such Letter of Credit, as the case may be, in each case, (a) which letter of credit practices are of banks that regularly issue letters of credit in the particular city, and (b) which laws or letter of credit practices are required or permitted under ISP or UCP, as chosen in the applicable Letter of Credit.
Service Level Standards has the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 2.1 hereof.
the Approved Guidance means such guidance on the obtaining, recording and maintaining of information about costs and on the breaking down and allocation of costs by reference to Approved Reporting Currencies as may be published by Monitor; “Approved ReportingCurrencies” means such categories of cost and other relevant information as may be published by Monitor; “other relevant information” means such information, which may include quality and outcomes data, as may be required by Monitor for the purpose of its functions under Chapter 4 (Pricing) in Part 3 of the 2012 Act.
California Renewables Portfolio Standard means the renewable energy program and policies established by California State Senate Bills 1038 and 1078 as amended by Senate Bill SB1X, and codified in California Public Utilities Code Sections 399.11 through 399.31 and California Public Resources Code Sections 25740 through 25751, as such provisions are amended or supplemented from time to time.
Regulatory Capital Requirements means any applicable capital resources requirement or applicable overall financial adequacy rule required by the Relevant Regulator, as such requirements or rule are in force from time to time;
Approved List means Securities followed by the Global Fundamental Research Group and tracked on the Approved List. Securities may be added, removed, or undergo periodic ratings changes.
Guide dog means any dog that is trained to aid a person who is blind and is actually used for such purpose, or any dog owned by a recognized guide dog training center located within the state during the period such dog is being trained or bred for such purpose.
Program Requirements means that the Open Ecosystem Partner has to fulfill certain minimum program requirements, some of which are general Open Ecosystem requirements, some of which are specific for the “Sell Engagement” and some of which are specific for the different “On Premise” Product Families, including, without limitation, upholding a Sell Authorization for at least one “On Premise” Product Family and other requirements as set out in detail in the Open Ecosystem Program Guide.
national standard means a standard adopted by a national standardisation organisation and made available to the general public;
Technical standard means a document that specifies design, predicted performance and operation and maintenance specifications for a material, device or method.
Approved source means a food source allowed under Article 3 (commencing with Section 114021) of Chapter 4, or a producer, manufacturer, distributor, or food facility that is acceptable to the enforcement agency based on a determination of conformity with applicable laws, or, in the absence of applicable laws, with current public health principles and practices, and generally recognized industry standards that protect public health.
approved facility means premises approved by the Controlling Body at which the collection, storage, freezing and/or at which insemination of such semen may be undertaken.
Categorical pretreatment standard means any regulation containing pollutant discharge limits promulgated by EPA in accordance with Sections 307(b) and (c) of the Act [33 U.S.C. Section 1317(b) and (c)] which apply to a specific category of users and which appear in 40 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter N, Parts 405-471.
Reasonable and prudent parent standard means the standard, characterized by careful and sensible parental decisions that maintain the health, safety and best interests of a child or ward while encouraging the emotional and developmental growth of the child or ward, that a substitute care provider shall use when determining whether to allow a child or ward in substitute care to participate in extracurricular, enrichment, cultural and social activities.
Design Standards means the heating, air-conditioning, ventilating, and renewable resource systems identified, analyzed, and recommended by the department as providing an efficient energy system or systems based on the economic life of the selected buildings.
Reliability Standard means a requirement approved by the Commission under Section 215 of the Federal Power Act to provide for reliable operation of the bulk power system. The term includes requirements for the operation of existing bulk power system facilities, including cyber security protection, and the design of planned additions or modifications to such facilities to the extent necessary for reliable operation of the bulk power system; but the term does not include any requirement to enlarge such facilities or to construct new transmission capacity or generation capacity.
