approved facility means any private practice, hospital, clinic or other health facility in Namibia defined in section 1 of the Hospitals and Health Facilities Act, 1994 (Act No. 36 of 1994), approved by the Council for the purpose of the training of hearing aid acoustics interns, and “facility” has a corresponding meaning;
approved facility means any laboratory, hospital, clinic, private practice or other health facility in Namibia defined in section 1 of the Hospitals and Health Facilities Act, 1994 (Act No. 36 of 1994) and which has been approved by the Council for the purpose of the training of medical technology interns;
approved facility means a solid or hazardous waste dis- posal facility with an approved plan of operation under s. 289.30 or a solid waste disposal facility initially licensed within 3 years prior to May 21, 1978, whose owner successfully applies, within 2 years after May 21, 1978, for a determination by the department that the facility’s design and plan of operation comply substan- tially with the requirements necessary for plan approval under s. 289.30.
More Definitions of approved facility
approved facility means a facility operating in accordance with the requirements of The Environment Act and the regulations thereunder;
approved facility means a training facility approved by the Council for the purpose of the training of an intern;
approved facility means a general acute care or psychiatric hospital or clinic under the supervision of a physician. If the hospital or clinic is located in New York State, it must be certified by the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services of the State of New York or according to the Mental Hygiene Law of New York State. If located outside New York State, it must be accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations for the provision of mental health, alcoholism or drug abuse treatment. Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Program, Day Treatment, 23 Hour Extended Bed and 72 Hour Crisis Bed will be considered approved facilities if they satisfy the foregoing requirements. In all cases other than an emergency, the facility must also be approved by OptumHealth.Under network coverage, residential treatment centers, halfway houses and group homes will be considered approved facilities, if they satisfy the requirements above and admission is certified by OptumHealth.
