Apprehend definition

Apprehend means taking an individual into custody by competent authority, with 930 or without a warrant.

  • Decisive Influence means a person having, as a result of an agreement or through the ownership of shares or interests in another person (directly or indirectly):

  • Intimidation means an unjustified threat or other action that is intended to cause fear or apprehension in a student.

  • Conscious sedation means a drug-induced depression of consciousness during which patients respond purposefully (reflex withdrawal from a painful stimulus is not considered a purposeful response) to verbal commands, either alone or accompanied by light tactile stimulation. No interventions are required to maintain a patent airway, and spontaneous ventilation is adequate. Cardiovascular function is usually maintained.

  • Intimidating, threatening, abusive, or harming conduct means, but is not limited to, conduct that does the following:

  • Licensed psychologist means a doctoral level psychologist licensed under section 18223(1) of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.18223.

  • Influential person means, in relation to a company, a natural person (other than a director or secretary of the company), who is in a position to control or substantially influence the company's conduct.

  • Accused Student means any student accused of violating this Student Code.

  • Acute toxicity means concurrent and delayed adverse effects that result from an acute exposure and occur within any short observation period, which begins when the exposure begins, may extend beyond the exposure period, and usually does not constitute a substantial portion of the life span of the organism.

  • Yourself means any person/s (end user) being of the legal age of eighteen (18) years.

  • Deputation means a person or group of persons who wish to appear personally before the council or a committee of the council in order to address the council or committee of the council;

  • Business Relation means any current or prospective client, customer, licensee, or other business relation of the Company Group, or any such relation that was a client, customer, licensee, supplier, or other business relation within the six (6) month period prior to the expiration of the Employment Period, in each case, to whom I provided services, or with whom I transacted business, or whose identity became known to me in connection with my relationship with or employment by the Company.

  • Supervised Persons for purposes of this Code means:

  • Mental, Nervous or Psychological Disorder means a mental or nervous health condition including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, neurosis, phobia, psychosis; or any related physical manifestation.

  • Pre-Licensed Psychologist means an individual who has obtained a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology and is registered with the Board of Psychology as a registered Psychology Intern or Psychological Assistant, acquiring hours for licensing and waivered in accordance with Welfare and Institutions Code section 575.2. The waiver may not exceed five (5) years.
