Applicable or Relevant and Appropriate Requirements or “ARARs” shall mean “legally applicable” or “relevant and appropriate” requirements, standards, criteria or limitations, as those terms are used in Section 121 of CERCLA, 42 U.S.C. Section 9621, and as defined in the NCP.
