APNIC means the Regional Internet Registry administering IP addresses for the Asia Pacific. Authentication Details mean the logins, user identities, passwords, security questions, keys, tokens, URLs and other details that may be used to access the Service. Blacklist means a so called blacklist or block list which is a basic access control system that denies entry or access to a specific list or range of users or network addresses or IP addresses, as a result of which email sent by a user or from a network address or from an IP address that is on the blacklist will not reach its intended destination or recipient. DDoS means Distributed-Denial-of-Service. DNS means domain name system, which is a hierarchical and decentralized naming system for computers, services, or other resources connected to the Internet or a private network. DoS means Denial-of-Service. DRDoS means Distributed-Reflected-Denial-of-Service.

APNIC means APNIC Pty Ltd ACN 081 528 010, a non-profit company incorporated under Australian laws. A reference to membership of APNIC is a reference to membership of the special committee called “APNIC”, which was established under the company’s constitution. • If the NIR Member believes that APNIC has failed to adequately consider all relevant circumstances or has acted unreasonably in sending a revocation notice under clause 4.3(b), then the NIR Member may appeal APNIC’s decision to the Executive Council within 30 days.

• The NIR Member acknowledges that if, at any time, APNIC reasonably considers that the NIR Member's organizational or technical capacity is inadequate for it to thoroughly implement all aspects of APNIC's Address Management Policies, then APNIC may, after giving the NIR Member at least 14 days advance written notice (setting out in such notice, the basis of APNIC’s consideration), temporarily suspend the provision of any registration or other services to the NIR Member whilst this situation remains.
