Anonymised definition

Anonymised means that the data has been rendered anonymous in such a way that the data subject can no longer be identified (and therefore is no longer personal data and thus outside the scope of data protection law).

More Definitions of Anonymised

Anonymised in data protection law terms means that the data cannot be matched to a participant by anyone. This includes the researcher, anyone working with the data, any hosting tools used to collect the data, and anyone the data is shared with.
Anonymised means data from which all personal data has been removed, so that it is no longer possible to re- identify an individual from the information; taking into account all means reasonably likely to be used by the supplier or anyone else to re-identify an individual.
Anonymised means that the concerned data do no longer relate to an identified or identifiable natural person. This means that Personal Data are rendered Anonymous in such a manner that the Data Subject is not or no longer identifiable (e.g. because all direct and indirect personal identifiers are removed from the data by for instance implementing technical measures so that such data can no longer be linked back to the initial Data Subject and the Data Subject can therefore not be re-identified).
