  • Chicago Convention means the Convention on International Civil Aviation, signed at Chicago on 7 December 1944, as amended, and its Annexes;

  • Convention means the Convention on International Civil Aviation, opened for signature at Chicago on 7 December 1944, and includes:

  • International Financial Reporting Standards means that set of accounting standards established and issued by the International Accounting Standards Board, as amended from time to time.

  • British Council Requirements means the instructions, requirements, policies, codes of conduct, guidelines, forms and other documents notified to the Supplier in writing or set out on the British Council’s website at http://www.britishcouncil.org/new/about-us/jobs/folder_jobs/register-as-a-consultant/policies-for-consultants-and-associates/ or such other web address as may be notified to the Supplier from time to time (as such documents may be amended, updated or supplemented from time to time during the Term);

  • Day Count Convention Fixed rate period: 30/360. Floating rate period: 360-day year and the number of days actually elapsed.

  • Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards means those certain technical requirements and standards applicable to interconnections of generation and/or transmission facilities with the facilities of an Interconnected Transmission Owner or, as the case may be and to the extent applicable, of an Electric Distributor, as published by Transmission Provider in a PJM Manual provided, however, that, with respect to any generation facilities with maximum generating capacity of 2 MW or less (synchronous) or 5 MW or less (inverter-based) for which the Interconnection Customer executes a Construction Service Agreement or Interconnection Service Agreement on or after March 19, 2005, “Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards” shall refer to the “PJM Small Generator Interconnection Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards.” All Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards shall be publicly available through postings on Transmission Provider’s internet website.

  • Conventions means the Athens Convention Relating to the Carriage of Passengers and Their Luggage by Sea, 1974, and the Protocols thereto of 1976 and 1990, and, where applicable, the Strasbourg Convention on the Limitation of Liability in Inland Navigation, 1988.

  • Convention country means, in accordance with the wording of Article 45 of the Hague Convention on Inter-country Adoption, any country in which the Convention has entered into force, except for a country against whose accession the Republic has raised an objection under Article 44 of the Convention;

  • Rounding Convention means that, if a Participating Bidder's order is matched in an amount that is not an integral multiple of the Rounding Amount, then the amount to be so matched will be rounded down to the nearest Rounding Amount. The difference between the total amounts of all orders having been filled Pro Rata and the total of all rounded down amounts will be allocated in amounts equal to the Rounding Amount one at a time to Participating Bidders in order, beginning with the Participating Bidder with the order stating the largest Quotation Amount at the same price. In the event that there are Participating Bidders with identical orders of such type, Rounding Amounts will be allocated first to the Participating Bidder whose orders were received first by the Administrators. Any residual amounts which are in aggregate less than the Rounding Amount shall be disregarded.

  • Environmental, Health or Safety Requirements of Law means all Requirements of Law derived from or relating to foreign, federal, state and local laws or regulations relating to or addressing pollution or protection of the environment, or protection of worker health or safety, including, but not limited to, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, 42 U.S.C. § 9601 et seq., the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, 29 U.S.C. § 651 et seq., and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, 42 U.S.C. § 6901 et seq., in each case including any amendments thereto, any successor statutes, and any regulations or guidance promulgated thereunder, and any state or local equivalent thereof.

  • Preceding Business Day Convention means that the relevant date shall be brought forward to the first preceding day that is a Business Day;

  • Following Business Day Convention means that the relevant date shall be postponed to the first following day that is a Business Day;

  • EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule means the EU Bail-In Legislation Schedule published by the Loan Market Association (or any successor person), as in effect from time to time.
