Ancillary Medical Services definition

Ancillary Medical Services means diagnostic testing, radiology/imaging, home health care services, transportation services, translation services, home modification services and service animals.
Ancillary Medical Services means those ancillary medical services provided by a company, including pathology lab services, magnetic resonance imaging services (MRi) and other diagnostic services;
Ancillary Medical Services means those Covered Services necessary to the diagnosis and treatment of Members, including but not limited to, ambulance, ambulatory or day surgery, durable medical equipment, imaging services, laboratory, pharmacy, mental health, physical or occupational therapy, urgent or Emergency care, and other Covered Services customarily deemed ancillary to the care furnished by Primary Care or Specialist Physicians and provided to a Member upon Referral.

Related to Ancillary Medical Services

  • Medical services means Medically Necessary services, including, as the context requires, Confinement, treatments, procedures, tests, examinations or other related services for the investigation or treatment of a Disability.

  • Emergency medical services or “EMS” means an integrated medical care delivery system to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the scene or during out-of-hospital patient transportation in an ambulance.

  • Emergency medical services provider means a person who has received formal training in prehospital and emergency care, and is licensed to attend any person who is ill or injured or who has a disability. Police officers, firefighters, funeral home employees and other persons serving in a dual capacity one of which meets the definition of “emergency medical services provider” are “emergency medical services providers” within the meaning of this chapter.

  • Emergency medical services personnel means that term as defined in section 20904 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20904.

  • Ancillary Services means those services that are necessary to support the transmission of capacity and energy from resources to loads while maintaining reliable operation of the Transmission Provider’s Transmission System in accordance with Good Utility Practice. Applicable Laws and Regulations:

  • Medical service means any medical treatment or any medical, surgical, diagnostic, chiropractic, dental, hospital, nursing, ambulances, and other related services, and drugs, medicine, crutches and prosthetic appliances, braces and supports and where necessary, physical restorative services.

  • Related Services means the services incidental to the supply of the goods, such as insurance, delivery, installation, commissioning, training and initial maintenance and other such obligations of the Supplier under the Contract.
