An act of terrorism. , in terms of this Article, means one of the following intentional acts which, given its nature or its context, may cause serious damage to the State or international organisation:
An act of terrorism means any act, or preparation in respect of action, or threat of action designed to influence or coerce the government de jure or de facto of any nation or any political division thereof, or in pursuit of political, religious, ideological, or similar purposes to intimidate the public or a section of the public of any nation by any person or group(s) of persons whether acting alone or on behalf of or in connection with any organisation(s) or government(s) de jure or de facto,
An act of terrorism means an act, including but not limited to the use of force or violence and/or the threat thereof, of any person or group(s) of persons whether acting alone or on behalf of or in connection with any organisation(s) or government(s), committed for political, religious, ideological or similar purpose including the intention to influence any government and/or to put the public, or any section of the public in fear.

  • Privacy Act means the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
