Ambulatory Resident definition

Ambulatory Resident means a resident who has the ability to move from place to place by walking, either unaided or aided by prosthesis, brace, cane, crutches, walker or hand rails, or by propelling a wheelchair or scooter; who can respond to an emergency condition, whether caused by fire or otherwise, and escape with minimal human assistance such as guiding a resident to an exit, using the normal means of egress.

  • Ambulance service provider means Latrobe Health Services recognises the following providers for the purposes of paying benefits:

  • Resident physician means a physician enrolled in an internship, residency or fellowship.

  • Ambulatory surgical facility means a facility that:  Is licensed by the state where it is located.  Is equipped and operated mainly to provide for surgeries or obstetrical deliveries.  Allows patients to leave the facility the same day the surgery or delivery occurs.

  • Occupational therapist means an individual who is licensed by a state to practice occupational therapy.

  • Radiation therapist means a person, other than a Licensed Practitioner or Nuclear Medicine Technologist, who applies radiation to humans for therapeutic purposes under the supervision of a Licensed Practitioner;

  • Seaplane means an aeroplane capable normally of taking off from and alighting solely on water;

  • Cannabis retailer means any licensed person or entity that purchases or otherwise obtains usable cannabis from cannabis cultivators and cannabis items from cannabis manufacturers or cannabis wholesalers, and sells these to consumers from a retail store, and may use a cannabis delivery service or a certified cannabis handler for the off-premises delivery of cannabis items and related supplies to consumers.   • Resident Partner means a partner who is a resident individual, a resident estate, a resident trust or a resident corporation. "Nonresident partner" means a partner other than a resident partner;

  • Marijuana retailer means a person who sells marijuana items to a consumer in this state.

  • Air ambulance means any aircraft specifically constructed, modified, or equipped and used for the primary purpose of responding to emergency calls and transporting critically ill or injured patients whose medical flight crew has at a minimum two attendants certified or licensed in advanced life support.

  • Behavioral therapy means interactive therapies derived from evidence-based research, including applied behavior analysis, which includes discrete trial training, pivotal response training, intensive intervention programs, and early intensive behavioral intervention.

  • Massage therapist means a person who practices massage therapy.
