Alternate Members definition

Alternate Members. The members designated in this Article, may appoint another person as an alternate to represent them provided that:
Alternate Members. One alternate member of the Organization board may be appointed by appropriate resolution or certified copy of official meeting minutes of the governing body of each party to this Agreement, filed with the Organization. The alternate member may attend any meeting of the Organization board when a regular member representing that party is absent and vote on behalf of the party the member represents. If an Organization board member is also an officer of the Organization, the alternate member shall not be entitled to serve as such officer.

Examples of Alternate Members in a sentence

  • Representative Members and Alternate Members are nominated for 3 years and may be re-nominated.

  • The PBC and the CEO shall each nominate people to be Representative Members and Alternate Members of the JMB.

  • Each Party shall have collectively among its JSC Members (including any JSC Alternate Member(s)) one vote per issue upon which a vote is taken during an electronic Interim Voting Meeting by the JSC as required or otherwise permitted under this Agreement, and if a decision of the JSC is required under this Agreement, the Parties shall endeavor to reach such decision by consensus.

  • The PBC shall nominate up to 5 Representative Members and equivalent Alternate Members, and the CEO shall nominate up to 3 Representative Members and equivalent Alternate Members.

  • Parties not represented in the Council as Members or Alternate Members have the right to be heard by the Council and to be present in the debate on their issue.

  • Participation in any meeting of the Executive Committee by conference telephone that enables all Members or Alternate Members to hear one another shall constitute participation in person.
