After a Participant definition

After a Participant s Forfeiture Date (and the loss of his right of restoration described in subparagraph 6.6(b), if applicable), his non-forfeitable interest in his Matching or Profit Sharing Active Account, if any, shall then be designated as or added to his Matching or Profit Sharing Non-forfeitable Account and no further allocations of any part of the Matching, Profit Sharing or Top Heavy Contributions by the Employer or of any forfeitures shall be made to such account thereafter.
After a Participant has filed a written request pursuant to this section, along with all supporting material, the committee shall grant or deny the request within 60 days (or such other number of days as is customarily applied from time to time) unless special circumstances warrant additional time.
After a Participant s death, any actual Beneficiary of the deceased Participant may designate one or more primary beneficiaries and one or more secondary beneficiaries to receive the Beneficiary's interest in the Plan attributable to the Participant's benefits after the Beneficiary's death, to the extent such designation is not inconsistent with the Participant's beneficiary designation. If the Beneficiary fails to designate a beneficiary or if none of his designated beneficiaries survive him, the Plan Administrator shall, to the extent not inconsistent with the Participant's beneficiary designation, designate a beneficiary or beneficiaries on the Beneficiary's behalf, in the following order:

Examples of After a Participant in a sentence

  • After a Participant has a Termination of Employment, no election can be made.

  • After a Participant has been employed by the Company for at least two (2) years, Investment Shares will be issued at a discount from Investment Share Value based on length of service.

  • After a Participant who has severed employment with the Employer incurs five (5) consecutive 1-Year Breaks in Service, the Vested portion of such Participant's Account attributable to pre-break service shall not be increased as a result of post-break service.

  • After a Participant who has severed employment with the Employer incurs five (5) consecutive 1-Year Breaks in Service, the Vested portion of said Participant’s Account attributable to pre-break service shall not be increased as a result of post-break service.

  • After a Participant attains Normal Retirement Age, the Participant, until he retires, has a continuing election to receive all or any portion of his Accrued Benefit.

  • FTR Participant means any Market Participant that provides or is required to provide Collateral in order to participate in PJM’s FTR auctions.

  • Active Participant means a Participant who has satisfied the eligibility requirements under Section 3 and who has at least 1,000 Hours of Service during the current Plan Year. However, a Participant shall not qualify as an Active Participant unless (i) he is in active Service with an Employer as of the last day of the Plan Year, or (ii) he is on a Recognized Absence as of that date, or (iii) his Service terminated during the Plan Year by reason of Disability, death, or Normal Retirement.

  • Study Participant means a person recruited to participate in the Study.

  • Program participant means an individual certified by the secretary as a program participant under Iowa Code section 9E.3.

  • Terminated Participant means a person who has been a Participant, but whose employment has been terminated other than by death, Total and Permanent Disability or retirement.

  • Qualified Participant means any Participant or Former Participant who has completed ten (10) Years of Service as a Participant and has attained age 55.

  • Non-U.S. Participant means any Participant that if it were a Lender would qualify as a Non-U.S. Lender.

  • L/C Participant shall have the meaning provided in Section 3.3(a).

  • Eligible Participant means an employee, officer, consultant or director of the Company or any Affiliate.

  • First Tier Participant refers to the participant who has entered into a covered transaction with a grantee or subgrantee of Federal funds (such as the prime or general contractor). “Lower Tier Participant” refers any participant who has entered into a covered transaction with a First Tier Participant or other Lower Tier Participants (such as subcontractors and suppliers).

  • Participating employee means an employee whose election to participate in a Plan has been approved by the employer.

  • Requesting Participant means a Participant initiating an RFQ.

  • Retired Participant means a person who has been a Participant, but who has become entitled to retirement benefits under the Plan.

  • Designated Participant means a key Employee of the Company or any other Participating Company who is designated by the Committee in writing to participate in the Program.

  • Non-Highly Compensated Participant means any Participant who is neither a Highly Compensated Employee nor a Family Member.
