Ammunition, explosives, and dangerous articles (AEDA) is any substance that by its composition and chemical characteristics, alone or when combined with another substance, is or becomes an explosive or propellant or is hazardous or dangerous to personnel, animal or plant-life, structures, equipment or the environment as a result of blast, fire, fragment, radiological or toxic effects.
