Adventure Sports definition

Adventure Sports means and includes skydiving/parachuting, parasailing, hang gliding, paragliding, ballooning, bungee jumping, scuba diving, mountain or rock climbing (where ropes or guides are customarily used), riding or driving in races or rallies using a motorized vehicle or bicycle, caving or pot-holing, hunting or equestrian activities, skin diving or other underwater activity, polo, snow and ice sports, rafting or canoeing involving white water rapids, yachting or boating, Base jumping, Ski jumping, Trekking, Adventure racing on land and water, Snorkeling, Kayaking, and any sporting activity based on bodily contact or which is hazardous or potentially dangerous.
Adventure Sports means an outdoor activity undertaken for sports or recreation on land or in water or in the air, as the case may be, which shall include water sports, aero-sports, trekking, rafting, skiing, heli-skiing, bunji-jumping and ballooning with an inherent risk to the life or limb of the participant or any other sports as may notified by the Government from time to time;
Adventure Sports means leisure and non-professional sports activities in: cycling, mountain climbing, fishing, Scuba diving for Qualified Divers up to a maximum depth of 40 meters (131 feet) and for Unqualified Divers up to a maximum depth of 30 meters (98 feet), snorkeling, white or black water rafting (Grades 1-4), canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, camping, hiking, backpacking and sailing, downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding (including off-trail and back country skiing and snowboarding, except as designated unsafe by the resort management), snowmobiling, tobogganing, snow tubing and ice skating.

Examples of Adventure Sports in a sentence

  • By the Development Agreement being entered into between JTDCL and hereinafter called “the Developer”(“the Development Agreement”), the Company has been granted the Right to implement the project envisaging Procurement, Installation, Development, Operation and Management of Adventure Sports Equipments at Chandil and Netarhat on PPP Mode, Jharkhand on PPP mode, hereinafter referred to as Project.

  • If the Insured is suffering from a Pre Existing Injury that limits their participation in the selected Adventure Sports.

  • The Third Party Inspector and JTDCL shall give its observations and comments, if any, within 15 (fifteen) days of receipt of such revised Drawings, Designs and details on Adventure Sports facilities which shall be taken into account by the Developer while finalising the Drawings, Designs and details of Adventure Sports facilities.

  • If the Insured is suffering from a Pre Existing Injury that limits their participation in the selected Adventure Sports / Professional Sports.

  • Provided that, the Developer shall in any event be solely responsible for the adequacy of the Drawings, Designs and details on facilities for Adventure Sports Activities.

  • If the comments/observations of the Third Party Inspector indicate that the Drawings, Designs and details on Adventure Sports facilities are not in conformity with the Detailed Project Report, Development Plan and Construction Requirements, it shall be revised by the Developer to the extent necessary and resubmitted to Third Party Inspector and JTDCL for further review.

  • Adventure Sports means any sport or activity, which is potentially dangerous to the Insured Person whether he is trained or not.

  • Any claim relating to Adventure Sports or Hazardous Activities, unless specifically covered in the Policy.

Adventure Sports means an outdoor activity undertaken for sports or recreation on land or in water or in air, which shall include water sports (namely boat and water scooter rides, jet ski, sea walk, submersible scooter, skiing, para sailing, snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing, scuba diving, game fishing, trekking, heli skiing, aero sports, or any other similar activity with an inherent risk to the life or limb of the participant or any other sports as notified by the Lt Governor from time to time.

Adventure Sports means leisure and non-professional sports activities in: bungee cord jumping; rock climbing; mountain climbing up to 4,572 meters (15,000 feet), scuba diving for Qualified Divers up to a maximum depth of 40 meters (131 feet) and for Unqualified Divers up to a maximum depth of 30 meters (98 feet), white or black water rafting (Grades 1-4), back country or off-trail skiing or snowboarding (except as designated unsafe by the resort management), parachuting or skydiving, helicopter skiing, extreme skiing or snowboarding; spelunking or caving.
