Adventure Sports definition

Adventure Sports means and includes skydiving/parachuting, parasailing, hang gliding, paragliding, ballooning, bungee jumping, scuba diving, mountain or rock climbing (where ropes or guides are customarily used), riding or driving in races or rallies using a motorized vehicle or bicycle, caving or pot-holing, hunting or equestrian activities, skin diving or other underwater activity, polo, snow and ice sports, rafting or canoeing involving white water rapids, yachting or boating, Base jumping, Ski jumping, Trekking, Adventure racing on land and water, Snorkeling, Kayaking, and any sporting activity based on bodily contact or which is hazardous or potentially dangerous.
Adventure Sports means those sports / activities which involves speed, height, a high level of physical exertion etc and holds high degree of risk. Such sports include - winter sports*, skydiving/parachuting, hang gliding, bungee jumping, scuba diving, mountain climbing (where ropes or guides are customarily used), riding or driving in races or rallies using a motorized vehicle or bicycle, caving or pot-holing, hunting or equestrian activities, ski diving or other underwater activity, rafting or canoeing involving white water rapids, yachting or boating outside coastal waters (2 miles), Professional Sports#, any bodily contact sport or any other hazardous or potentially dangerous sport ; * winter sports means a sport that takes place in the winter in the open air on ice or snow such as snow skiing, Heli Skiing, Mountaineering & Ice Climbing, Auli skiing# professional sports means a sport in which athletes receive payment for their performance such as Athletics, Bowling, Cycling, Football, Weightlifting, Cricket.
Adventure Sports means an outdoor activity undertaken for sports or recreation on land or in water or in the air, as the case may be, which shall include water sports, aero-sports, trekking, rafting, skiing, heli-skiing, bunji-jumping and ballooning with an inherent risk to the life or limb of the participant or any other sports as may notified by the Government from time to time;

Such sport/activity includes racing and competitions, stunt activities of any kind, adventure racing, base jumping, blathlon, big game hunting, black water rafting, BMX stunt/ obstacle riding, bobsleighing/ using skeletons, bouldering, boxing, canyoning, caving/ pot holing, cave tubing, rock climbing/ trekking/ mountaineering, cycle racing, cyclo cross, drag racing, endurance testing, hand gliding, harness racing, hell skiing, high diving (above 5 meters), hunting, ice hockey, ice speedway, jousting, judo, karate, kendo, lugging, risky manual labor, marathon running, martial arts, micro – lighting, modern pentathlon, motor cycle racing, motor rallying, parachuting, paragliding/ parapenting, piloting aircraft, polo, power lifting, power boat racing, quad biking, river boarding, scuba diving, river bugging, rodeo, roller hockey, rugby, ski acrobatics, ski doo ski jumping, ski racing, sky diving, small bore target shooting, speed trials/ time trials, triathlon, water ski jumping, weight lifting, wrestling and activities of similar nature;
