ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDERS definition
ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDERS or “APPs” means a type of provider who provides a medical level of care or performs surgical tasks consistent with granted clinical privileges, but who may be required by law and/or the Hospital to exercise some or all of those clinical privileges under the direction of, or in collaboration with, a Collaborating/Supervising Physician pursuant to a written supervision, collaborative, or practice agreement. See Appendix A.
ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDERS means all those Allied Health Practitioners who are licensed or certified under state law, are granted clinical privileges, and function in the Hospital under the supervision of a practitioner(s) appointed to the Medical Staff. The Supervising Physician(s) is responsible for the actions of the Advanced Practice Provider in the Hospital.
ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDERS means a person who is licensed to practice as a: Physician Assistant-Certified, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist or Clinical Psychologist.

ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDERS means a type of provider who provides a medical level of care or performs surgical tasks in accordance with New Jersey law, his or her clinical privileges granted by the Hospital, and the following practice guidelines:
ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDERS or “APPs” means those individuals licensed by the State of Illinois as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Physician Assistant (PA) and any other disciplines approved by the Medical Executive Committee.
ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDERS means but is not limited to, Optometrists, Audiologists, Certified Substance Abuse Counselors, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Genetic Counselors, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and Certified Nurse Midwives.
ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDERS. ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDERS means psychologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, and similar persons who are qualified and if necessary, appropriately licensed, to provide limited care to patients and who have been granted privileges to provide their services in the Health Center, as independent practitioners or dependent practitioners under the overall supervision of the Medical Staff.
ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDERS. (“APPs”) means individuals other than Medical Staff members who are authorized by law and by the District to provide patient care services within the District.
ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDERS means practitioners other than physicians, dentists and podiatrists who function at the Downtown Campus in accordance with the Advanced Practice Providers Credentialing Policy;
