Adoptive Parents definition

Adoptive Parents and "Adopting Parents" or “they” or “you” or “your” refers to the individuals, whether one or two persons, whose names and signatures appear at the end of this document.
Adoptive Parents means the person(s) who have been made the legal parents of a child by the entry of an order of adoption under this part or under the provisions of the laws of any state, territory or foreign country.
Adoptive Parents means any two persons each of whom are an adoptive parent of the same adopted person;

More Definitions of Adoptive Parents

Adoptive Parents means the parents who adopt a child with special needs if the child has been placed for adoption pursuant to applicable state and local laws.

  • Controlled Investment Affiliate means, as to any Person, any other Person, other than any Investor, which directly or indirectly is in control of, is controlled by, or is under common control with such Person and is organized by such Person (or any Person controlling such Person) primarily for making direct or indirect equity or debt investments in the Issuer and/or other companies.

  • Debt Fund Affiliate means any Affiliate of the Sponsor (other than Holdings or any of its Subsidiaries) that is a bona fide debt fund or an investment vehicle that is engaged in the making, purchasing, holding or otherwise investing in, acquiring or trading commercial loans, bonds or similar extensions of credit in the ordinary course and whose managers have fiduciary duties to the investors in such fund independent of, or in addition to, their duties to the Sponsor.

  • Consolidated Fund means the Consolidated Fund established by this Constitution;

  • Consolidated Stockholders’ Equity means, as of any date of determination for the Company and its Subsidiaries (excluding Project Debt Entities) on a consolidated basis, stockholders’ equity as of that date, determined in accordance with GAAP.

  • Grandchild means a child of the employee's child.

  • Consolidated Companies means, collectively, Borrower and all of its Subsidiaries.

  • Combined Group means a group of corporations or other entities that files a Combined Return.

  • Stepparent means a person who is not the parent of the dependent child, but is the legal spouse of the dependent child’s parent by ceremonial or common-law marriage.

  • Fund Affiliate shall include any person or entity that would be defined as an affiliated person under the 1940 Act.

  • Investment Affiliate means any Person in which the Consolidated Group, directly or indirectly, has a ten percent (10%) or greater ownership interest, whose financial results are not consolidated under GAAP with the financial results of the Consolidated Group.

  • Non-profit making companies means companies set up under the Companies Act, 1956/Companies Act 2013.

  • ACPE means the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
