Adjusted Accrued Benefit definition

Adjusted Accrued Benefit means the Accrued Benefit of each Participant after it is adjusted in accordance with Section 4.04(a) to reflect any Tax Distributions made to such Participant and in accordance with Section 4.04(b) to reflect any distributions made under Section 4.05 and not recontributed to the Plan.
Adjusted Accrued Benefit means the Participant’s Accrued Benefit after the adjustments described in Section 6.1(c), which is the amount to which the Code Section 415 Limit will be applied.

Examples of Adjusted Accrued Benefit in a sentence

  • Benefit determined under 5.1(c)(i)(A) above shall be the greater of the actual benefit amount or the sum of the Adjusted Accrued Benefit and Future Service Benefit.

  • The post-December 31, 1993, Years of Benefit Service shall not exceed the difference between 30 years and the Years of Benefit Service used in determining the Adjusted Accrued Benefit.

  • The "Adjusted Accrued Benefit" shall mean the Participant's Accrued Benefit determined as of December 31, 1993, determined without regard to the $150,000 Code Section 401(a)(127) compensation limit adjusted as permitted under Section 415(d) of the Code.

  • The term "Adjusted Accrued Benefit" means the Accrued Benefit of each Participant after it is adjusted in accordance with Section 4.04(a) to reflect any Tax Distributions made to such Participant and in accordance with Section 4.04(b) to reflect any distributions made under Section 4.05 and not recontributed to the Plan.

  • If he or she elects a form of payment other than the single life annuity or Spousal joint and survivor annuity, his or her Adjusted Accrued Benefit will not be reduced by the Actuarial Equivalent factor for his or her elected form of payment described in Section 4.1.

  • The Participant’s Code Section 415 Limit, which will be applied to reduce his or her Adjusted Accrued Benefit, if necessary, will be adjusted by any of the following circumstances that apply to him or her.

  • The calculation of the Participant’s Adjusted Accrued Benefit will include any other relevant provision in the Plan, or requirement of law, in effect from time to time.

  • The product of the steps in Section 6.1(c)(i), (ii) and (iii) will be the Participant’s Adjusted Accrued Benefit for purposes of applying the Code Section 415 Limit.

  • If the Participant’s Adjusted Accrued Benefit is not greater than $10,000, the full amount may be paid whether or not that amount exceeds his or her Percentage Limit, but only if (A) his or her annual benefit has not exceeded $10,000 in any previous Plan Year, and (B) he or she has never participated in a defined contribution plan maintained by the Employer.

  • Accrued Benefit means the amount standing in a Participant's Account(s) as of any date derived from both Employer contributions and Employee contributions, if any.

  • Accrued Benefits shall include the following amounts, payable as described herein: (i) all base salary for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (ii) reimbursement for any and all monies advanced in connection with the Executive's employment for reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the Executive on behalf of the Company and its Affiliates for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (iii) any and all other cash earned through the Termination Date and deferred at the election of the Executive or pursuant to any deferred compensation plan then in effect; (iv) notwithstanding any provision of any bonus or incentive compensation plan applicable to the Executive, a lump sum amount, in cash, equal to the sum of (A) any bonus or incentive compensation that has been allocated or awarded to the Executive for a fiscal year or other measuring period under the plan that ends prior to the Termination Date but has not yet been paid (pursuant to Section 5(f) or otherwise) and (B) a pro rata portion to the Termination Date of the aggregate value of all contingent bonus or incentive compensation awards to the Executive for all uncompleted periods under the plan calculated as to each such award as if the Goals with respect to such bonus or incentive compensation award had been attained; and (v) all other payments and benefits to which the Executive (or in the event of the Executive's death, the Executive's surviving spouse or other beneficiary) may be entitled as compensatory fringe benefits or under the terms of any benefit plan of the Employer, including severance payments under the Employer's severance policies and practices in the form most favorable to the Executive that were in effect at any time during the 180-day period prior to the Effective Date. Payment of Accrued Benefits shall be made promptly in accordance with the Employer's prevailing practice with respect to clauses (i) and (ii) or, with respect to clauses (iii), (iv) and (v), pursuant to the terms of the benefit plan or practice establishing such benefits.

  • Maximum Benefit Amount means the maximum amount payable for coverage provided to You as shown in the Schedule of Benefits.

  • Change in Control Benefit means the benefit described in Section 2.4.

  • Net death benefit means the amount of the life insurance policy or certificate to be settled less any outstanding debts or liens.

  • Maximum Benefit means the maximum benefit amount of each of the benefits covered under this Policy as stated in the Schedule of Benefits.

  • Termination Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 7.

  • Early Retirement Benefit means the retirement benefit payable to a member following early

  • Average final compensation means the average annual creditable compensation of a member during

  • Normal Retirement Benefit means the benefit described in Section 2.1.

  • Annual Benefit means an annual sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) multiplied by the Applicable Percentage (defined below) and then reduced to the extent required: (i) under the other provisions of this Agreement; (ii) by reason of the lawful order of any regulatory agency or body having jurisdiction over the Employer; and (iii) in order for the Employer to properly comply with any and all applicable state and federal laws, including, but not limited to, income, employment and disability income tax laws (eg., FICA, FUTA, SDI).

  • Retirement Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 5.

  • Last Monthly Benefit means the gross Monthly Benefit payable to the Insured Employee immediately prior to death. Any reductions for Other Income Benefits, or for earnings the Insured Employee received for Partial Disability Employment, will not apply.

  • Vested Benefits means amounts that are vested or that Executive is otherwise entitled to receive, without the performance by Executive of further services or the resolution of a contingency, under the terms of or in accordance with any investment and savings plan or retirement plan (including any plan providing retiree medical benefits) of the Company or its affiliates, and any ERPs or ESPs related thereto, and any deferred compensation or employee stock purchase plan or similar plan or program of the Company or its affiliates.

  • Average Compensation means the average of your W-2 wages from the Company for the five (5) calendar years completed immediately prior to the calendar year in which the Change in Control is effected. Any W-2 wages for a partial year of employment will be annualized, in accordance with the frequency which such wages are paid during such partial year, before inclusion in Average Compensation.

  • Plan Benefit means the benefit payable to a Participant as calculated in Article V.

  • Average Monthly Compensation means the quotient determined by dividing the sum of the Employee’s then current Base Salary (as defined in Section 4.1 hereof) and the greater of the most recently paid Incentive Compensation (as defined in Section 4.2 hereof) or the average of Incentive Compensation paid over the three most recent years by twelve.

  • Determination Year means the Plan Year for which testing is being performed, and the “look-back year” means the immediately preceding twelve (12) month period.

  • Monthly Benefit means the monthly amount payable by Liberty to you if you are Disabled or Partially Disabled.

  • Annual Benefit Limit means the maximum amount of benefits paid by the Company to the Policy Holder in a Policy Year irrespective of whether any limits of any benefit items stated in the Benefit Schedule have been reached. The Annual Benefit Limit is counted afresh in a new Policy Year.

  • Benefit Distribution Date means the date upon which all or an objectively determinable portion of a Participant’s vested benefits will become eligible for distribution. Except as otherwise provided in the Plan, a Participant’s Benefit Distribution Date shall be determined based on the earliest to occur of an event or scheduled date set forth in Articles 4 through 9, as applicable.

  • Supplemental Benefit means the monthly benefit payable to the Executive under this Agreement.

  • Excess Elective Deferrals means the amount of Elective Deferrals (as defined below) for a calendar year that the Participant designates to the Plan pursuant to the following procedure. The Participant’s designation: shall be submitted to the Administrator in writing no later than March 1; shall specify the Participant’s Excess Elective Deferrals for the preceding calendar year; and shall be accompanied by the Participant’s written statement that if the Excess Elective Deferrals is not distributed, it will, when added to amounts deferred under other plans or arrangements described in Section 401(k), 408(k) or 403(b) of the Code, exceed the limit imposed on the Participant by Section 402(g) of the Code for the year in which the deferral occurred. Excess Elective Deferrals shall mean those Elective Deferrals that are includible in a Participant's gross income under Section 402(g) of the Code to the extent such Participant's Elective Deferrals for a taxable year exceed the dollar limitation under such Code section.

  • Actuarial equivalent means a benefit of equal value when

  • Supplemental Retirement Benefit means the benefit determined under Article V of this Plan.

  • Accrued Bonus means the bonus, which may be negative or positive, which is calculated in the manner set forth in Section V.A.
