Additional Residential Unit (ARU) definition
Additional Residential Unit (ARU) means a self contained residential dwelling unit, with its own cooking facility, sanitary facility and sleeping area, located within a principal dwelling (attached ARU), or within an ancillary building (garden suite) on the same lot as the principal dwelling. “By-law” means this by-law, as amended from time to time; (By-law 70-2023)
