Additional Authorized Driver(s) definition

Additional Authorized Driver(s). (AAD(s)) means any individual, in addition to Renter, who is permitted by Owner, State law or separate agreement (i.e. Corporate, Tour or Emerald Club) to operate the Vehicle. This includes individuals identified on the Agreement as ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZED DRIVER(S), and with the permission of Renter, includes Renter’s spouse or domestic partner (same or opposite sex) who meets the minimum rental age and holds a valid license, an additional fee may apply.
Additional Authorized Driver(s). (AAD(s)) means any individual in addition to Renter who is permitted by Owner to operate Vehicle. This includes individuals identified on the Rental Agreement Summary as ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZED DRIVER(S), and with the permission of Renter, includes Renter’s spouse or domestic partner (same or opposite sex) who meets the minimum rental age and holds a valid license.

Examples of Additional Authorized Driver(s) in a sentence

  • Additional Authorized Driver(s)" (AAD[s]) means any individual, in addition to ▇▇▇▇▇▇, who; (i) has permission of the Renter to drive Vehicle and is either a member of ▇▇▇▇▇▇'s immediate family (including same or opposite sex domestic partner) who permanently resides with ▇▇▇▇▇▇, (ii) is a fellow employee who drives the Vehicle for business purposes, (iii) is required by law, or (iv) is permitted by Owner or separate agreement (i.e., Corporate, Tour or Emerald Club) to operate the Vehicle.

  • In addition to the above, Additional Authorized Drivers who otherwise meet National's qualifications can be added at the time of rental.

  • The Additional Authorized Drivers and you are referred to collectively in the Agreement as Authorized Driver(s).

  • Company agrees that tire failure due to incorrect pressure or damage caused by the Additional Authorized Driver(s) of the vehicle will be the responsibility of Company.

  • If Participating Member does not verify the status of the person in question, the applicable Affiliate or Franchisee will not provide any of the Driver Protection Products afforded to Eligible Renters or Additional Authorized Drivers hereunder to that person unless required by applicable law.
