Active staff or “Active Medical Staff” means those Medical Staff Members who routinely utilize the Hospital services, exercise those privileges granted by the Board of Directors to provide care for their patients, and assume all the duties and responsibilities of appointment on the Active Medical staff including but not limited to service on committees and attendance at Medical Staff meetings.

Active staff means the Practitioners to whom section 3.2 of these Rules applies.

Active staff. , means the category of members of the Medical Staff, Dental Staff or, as applicable, Midwifery Staff, as more fully defined in Section 15 of this By-law.

Active status means the Employee's Employment status from the Effective Date to the Termination Date.

PCPs include internists, family practitioners, general practitioners, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN), Physician Assistants (PA), obstetrician gynecologist (ob-gyn) and pediatricians or any other practice allowed by us. A PCP supervises, directs and gives initial care and basic medical services to you and is in charge of your ongoing care.
