Accrediting Body means any entity or organization which engages in granting or withholding Accreditation or similar approval for private post-secondary schools and educational programs, in accordance with standards relating to the performance, operation, financial condition and/or educational quality of such schools and programs, including, without limitation, the Accrediting Commission for Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.
Accrediting agency means: an accreditor recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and whose scope of recognition, as specified by the U.S. Department of Education, includes Distance Education.
Accredited means approved by the:
Institutional Accredited Investors Institutions that are “accredited investors” within the meaning of Rule 501(a) (1), (2), (3) or (7) of Regulation D under the Act or any entity all of the equity owners of which are such institutions.
Accredited Investors should complete this Section
Institutional Accredited Investor means an institution that is an “accredited investor” as defined in Rule 501(a)(1), (2), (3) or (7) under the Securities Act, who are not also QIBs.
Reporting Financial Institution means a Reporting Finnish Financial Institution or a Reporting U.S. Financial Institution, as the context requires.
NATA accredited means in relation to the analysis of a sample that the laboratory is NATA accredited for the specified analysis at the time of the analysis;
Accredited program means a food protection manager certification program that has been evaluated and listed by an accrediting agency as conforming to national standards for organizations that certify individuals.
the Academies means all the schools and educational institutions referred to in Article 4a and operated by the Academy Trust (and “Academy” shall mean any one of those schools or educational institutions);
Regional Board means a California regional water quality control board.
Underwriter’s Exemption Prohibited Transaction Exemption 2002-41, 67 Fed. Reg. 54487 (2002), as amended (or any successor thereto), or any substantially similar administrative exemption granted by the U.S. Department of Labor.
Supervising physician means any physician licensed under Iowa Code chapter 148, 150, or 150A. The supervising physician is responsible for medical direction of emergency medical care personnel when such personnel are providing emergency medical care.
Central Depositories Act means the Securities Industry (Central Depositories) Act 1991 and every statutory amendment, modification or re-enactment thereof for the time being in force;
Credentialing means the process of collecting, assessing, and validating qualifications and other relevant information pertaining to a health care provider to determine eligibility and to deliver Covered Services.
Program Executing Agency means the entity or entities responsible for the carrying out of the Program as specified in the Loan Agreement.
Independent educational evaluation means an evaluation conducted by a qualified examiner who is not employed by the public agency responsible for the education of the child in question.
Accredited Investor Questionnaire means the Accredited Investor Questionnaire set forth as Exhibit C-1 hereto.
Flood Boundary and Floodway Map (FBFM means an official map of a community, issued by the FEMA, on which the Special Flood Hazard Areas and the floodways are delineated. This official map is a supplement to and shall be used in conjunction with the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM).
the Academy means the school referred to in Article 4 and established by the Academy Trust;
the International Bureau means the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization.
Non-Reporting Financial Institution means any Financial Institution that is:
Flood Hazard Boundary Map (FHBM means an official map of a community, issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, where the boundaries of the Special Flood Hazard Areas have been defined as Zone A.
Regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation means the regulations in 49 CFR Parts 100-189.
Professional Investor means an investor who possesses the experience, knowledge and expertise to make its own investment decisions and properly assess the risks that it incurs. Professional investors include, among others, entities which are required to be authorised or regulated to operate in the financial markets, large undertakings, and other institutional investors whose main activity is to invest in financial instruments;
Depositories Act means The Depositories Act, 1996 and shall include any statutory modification or re-enactment thereof.
