Accessory building/structure means a subordinate structure not intended for habitation (excepting approved Accessory Dwelling Units) and detached from but located on the same lot as the primary structure. The use of an accessory structure is incidental to that of the primary structure. Excluded from this definition are trash enclosures, storage sheds, equipment structures, decks and planter boxes with a maximum height of 42 inches, and similar small structures. a separate building, the use of which is subordinate and incidental to that of the main building, structure, or use on the same lot.
