Students who require special accommodations due to a disability as defined by section 504 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and associated Amendments of 2008 should contact the Center for Accessibility Services as soon as possible after submitting this agreement.
DHRL may confer with other university offices including but not limited to the Office of Student Accessibility Services and/or Student Health Services in order to determine any reasonable and appropriate accommodations.

Housing and Residence Education is committed to supporting the UNIVERSITY's educational purpose and mission and works in partnership with the Student Accessibility Services providing students access to all levels of the residential experience.
Qualified students with disabilities who wish to receive accommodations will provide appropriate documentation relevant to the student’s disability that meets PHSC’s published guidelines to the College’s Office of Student Accessibility Services that will review the documentation provided, determine whether the student is eligible to receive accommodations and will then arrange for approved accommodations to be provided.
The Office of Residence Life, Facilities Management and Housekeeping, Dexter Health Services, and the Center for Accessibility Services and Academic Accommodations may have the mattress removed and disposed of at anytime the mattress is found to be a risk to other student(s) health, safety, or wellbeing.
Accommodation requests cannot be processed without a recommendation from Accessibility Services.
However, accommodations will be approved by college Student Accessibility Services (SAS) office on a course by course, case by case basis.
Should a student require a mattress to accommodate a medical need, that accommodation must be approved through the Center for Accessibility Services and Academic Accommodations.
