national standard means a standard adopted by a national standardisation organisation and made available to the general public;
international standard means a standard adopted by an international standardisation organisation and made available to the general public;
Generally accepted auditing standards means Canadian Generally Accepted Auditing Standards as adopted by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants applicable as of the date on which such record is kept or required to be kept in accordance with such standards.
Common Reporting Standard means the standard for automatic exchange of financial account information in tax matters (which includes the Commentaries), developed by the OECD, with G20 countries;
harmonised standard means harmonised standard as defined in point (c) of point 1 of Article 2 of Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012;
National Standards means the document entitled “National Standards for the Volatile Organic Compound Content of Canadian Commercial/Industrial Surface Coating Products Automotive Refinishing, October 1998, PN 1288" and published by the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment;
Generally accepted standards of medical practice means standards that are based upon: credible scientific evidence published in peer-reviewed medical literature and generally recognized by the relevant medical community; physician and health care provider specialty society recommendations; the views of physicians and health care providers practicing in relevant clinical areas and any other relevant factor as determined by statute(s) and/or regulation(s).
Technical standard means a document that specifies design, predicted performance and operation and maintenance specifications for a material, device or method.
Specifications and Standards means the specifications and standards relating to the quality, quantity, capacity and other requirements for the Project, as set forth in Schedule-D, and any modifications thereof, or additions thereto, as included in the design and engineering for the Project submitted by the Developer to, and expressly approved by, the Authority;
Codes and Standards means all the applicable codes and standards as indicated in the Technical Specification.
Design Standards means the standards developed as a requirement of the Programmatic Agreement
Service Level Standards has the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 2.1 hereof.

Disturbance Control Standard or “DCS” shall mean the reliability standard that sets the time limit following a disturbance within which a balancing authority must return its Area Control Error to within a specified range.
Airworthiness Directive or “AD” means any airworthiness directive issued by the Certificating Authority, in addition to any airworthiness directive issued by the Aeronautics Authority, each to the extent the same is applicable to the Aircraft and/or any Item of Equipment.
Applicable Standards means the requirements and guidelines of NERC, the Applicable Regional Entity, and the Control Area in which the Customer Facility is electrically located; the PJM Manuals; and Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards.
Standards means: any standards published by BSI British Standards, the National Standards Body of the United Kingdom, the International Organisation for Standardisation or other reputable or equivalent bodies (and their successor bodies) that a skilled and experienced operator in the same type of industry or business sector as the Supplier would reasonably and ordinarily be expected to comply with; any standards detailed in the specification in Framework Schedule 1 (Digital Services) or Framework Schedule 6 (Standards and Security); any standards detailed by the Customer in this Contract or as agreed between the Parties from time to time; any relevant Government codes of practice and guidance applicable from time to time.
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles means the standards for accounting and preparation of financial statements established by the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (or its successor agency) or any successor standards adopted pursuant to relevant SEC rule.
safety standard means the Code of Practice for the Wiring of Premises SANS 10142-1 incorporated in the Regulations;
Renewable Portfolio Standard or “RPS” means a state or federal law, rule or regulation that requires a stated amount or minimum proportion or quantity of electricity that is sold or used by specified persons to be generated from Renewable Energy Sources.
International Financial Reporting Standards means the accounting standards and interpretations adopted by the International Accounting Standards Board.
Uniform standard means a standard adopted by the Commission for a Product line, pursuant to Article VII of this Compact, and shall include all of the Product requirements in aggregate; provided, that each Uniform Standard shall be construed, whether express or implied, to prohibit the use of any inconsistent, misleading or ambiguous provisions in a Product and the form of the Product made available to the public shall not be unfair, inequitable or against public policy as determined by the Commission.
Accepted Servicing Practices With respect to any Mortgage Loan, those mortgage servicing practices of prudent mortgage lending institutions which service mortgage loans of the same type as such Mortgage Loan in the jurisdiction where the related Mortgaged Property is located.
Reliability Standard means a requirement to provide for reliable operation of the bulk power system, including without limiting the foregoing requirements for the operation of existing bulk power system facilities, including cybersecurity protection, and the design of planned additions or modifications to such facilities to the extent necessary for reliable operation of the bulk power system, but shall not include any requirement to enlarge bulk power system facilities or to construct new transmission capacity or generation capacity.
Standard means a document approved by a recognised body that provides for common and repeated use, rules, guidelines or characteristics for goods or services, or related processes and production methods, with which compliance is not mandatory. It may also include or deal exclusively with terminology, symbols, packaging, marking or labelling requirements as they apply to a good, service, process or production method;
Technical Standards means the technical standards set out in paragraph 2.4 of the Order Form;
