Academic deficiency definition

Academic deficiency means breach of 17 ii, iv, v or vi above. It shall be dealt with according to the following Academic Disciplinary Procedure. Every breach of 17 vi, and every breach of 17 iv or v lasting two consecutive weeks, shall normally entail the immediate initiation of the procedure.

Academic deficiency. The Resident is not meeting one or more of the ACGME Core Competencies, as revised from time to time, which may include but is not limited to: patient care and procedural skills, medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, and system-based practice.
