ability to perform work definition
ability to perform work means the education, skill, knowledge, efficiency, experience and other relevant attributes required to perform the work.
ability to perform work or "qualified to perform work" means that with minimum instruction the work can be performed without impairing the efficiency of the operation. The decision regarding performance shall be made by the Hospital but this shall not limit the union's right to file a grievance. Where ability and qualifications are equal, the employee with the longest seniority shall be given preference.
