Abandons definition

Abandons means leaving a child or other dependent person without the means or ability to obtain one or more of the basic necessities of life.
Abandons means, other than in the event of a Force Majeure Event or an Excusable Event, Contractor abandons, ceases to perform the Work or leaves the Site for a period longer than four (4) continuous months.

Abandons or ‘abandoned’ means a ship- owner’s unilateral severance of ties with a seafarer or the shipowner’s failure to provide necessary support of a seafarer.
