Definition of a first length of eastbound carriageway


a first length of eastbound carriageway means the A14 eastbound carriageway – (a) between the tip of the nosing of the exit slip road leading to Spittals Interchange and the tip of the nosing of the entry slip road leading from Godmanchester Interchange, (b) from the tip of the nosing of the exit slip road leading to St. Ives Interchange (to the point where it merges with the southbound carriageway of the M11 north of Girton Interchange, or (c) at Girton Interchange, from it’s diverge with the A1307 to the point where it merges with the A428;
