Common use of Notices Clause in Contracts

Notices. 13.1. The Customer agrees that all relevant notices and communications can be sent to him / her in written format on a durable medium. In addition to any other contact details provided to Novum, the Customer also specifies his/her mobile number (if any) as an additional means of receiving notices and other communications from Novum. 13.2. The Customer will be notified of all new communications by an e-mail message sent to the e-mail address given in the Loan Application and a short message service (sms) alert sent on a mobile device, as specified by the Customer. 13.3. Further to Clause 13.2., notices and other communications delivered to the Customer’s e-mail are considered received five (5) days following their delivery, except where Novum receives a notice or other communication signifying non-delivery or incomplete delivery. 13.4. Information about the correct content and wording of the mobile messages is also provided over the phone by Novum’s Customer Care or in writing at the e-mail address indicated above. In case the requirements change, the Customer shall be notified thereof. 13.5. Communication between the Customer and Novum shall be made in German.
