Scaling of National Forest logs is performed at scaling location(s) listed in section A of the 2400-6 timber sale contract and 2400-13 stewardship contract. In accordance with 2400-6 timber sale contract version 9/73 provisions B6.81 and C6.84 or versions 7/01 and 4/04 provisions B6.811 and B6.84, and in accordance with 2400-13 G.8.1.1, Forest Service may approve alternate scaling locations in lieu of the location listed in contract. Alternate scaling sites must meet criteria established in FSH 2409.15, section 23.11, prior to approval. The Scale Location Owner described herein shall conduct this alternate scaling operation according to the terms and procedures set forth in this document.
