LANGHE DOC NEBBIOLO “NIBLÒ”Wine Description • April 21st, 2021
The selection carried out during the grape harvest in Nebbiolo vineyards produces this Langhe Nebbiolo. A young wine featuring all the variety’s aristocratic characteristics, but in a slightly detached style that makes it decidedly fragrant and tasty: an attractive, deep ruby-red colour; a powerful, fragrant nose hinting at raspberries, wild strawberries, jam and geraniums, becoming more rounded over time, as spicy and ethereal overtones are added.

The oldest evidence relating to Nebbiolo grapes in the Alba area dates back to 1292. In a lease contract for a land located in the territory of Alba, “in the locality between the two bridges", among the obligations for the tenant was also that of planting “filagnos de vitibus neblorii” (rows of Nebbiolo vines). The name of our Niblò comes from the ancient name of the king of vines
