Volunteer drivers may transport children to Church sponsored activities from time to time. Volunteer drivers are responsible for any and all liability claims which may arise as a consequence of personally transporting minors. Each private vehicle is required to provide one properly functioning seat belt per child. Children under the age of 14 are not to be transported in a front seat if an air bag is present. Each volunteer driver is required to possess a valid California Driver’s License and the minimum legal levels of liability insurance. Each vehicle used shall be in safe operating condition and operated in a safe and legal manner. The volunteer driver is responsible for the supervision of students while en route.
