Agreed: The person of persons to whom this permit is issued shall maintain such safety measures as will effectively prevent any accident in consequence of the work being done for which the Village of Bellville might be liable, and he shall be liable for all damages to property or injury to persons occasioned in any way by his acts or neglect, or that of any person working for him. That he shall protect and hold harmless the Village of Bellville and its agents for all claims resulting in injury to persons or damage to property.
