We are very pleased to bring this access to you and we believe that the Internet offers vast, diverse and unique resources to both students and teachers. With the implementation of Connect Ed, increased access to the Internet and email facilities will be available to students. Under direction from Education Queensland the following agreement must be signed by each student and their parent/guardian to allow access to these facilities. Students will not be allowed access to the Internet until this agreement is returned.

It is envisaged that children will be accessing educational sites on the Internet chosen by their teacher. Students will only access the Internet while supervised by a teacher. Some classes will also be using e- mail to communicate with classes at other schools. Our School Intranet will be used to display class work and photographs. No last names or other private information will be published. We have discussed our rules for using the Internet with student in an effort to make them more responsible, we ask that you read this document with them.

At Brassall State School children in Prep to Year 6 have access to the Internet. Children in Prep to Year 3 have access that is controlled by the educator (teacher or teacher aide). Children in Years 4 to 6 are required to read and sign the section below to acknowledge their responsibility when using the internet.
