Fall/Spring: As the Student and the Faculty Mentor, we hereby agree to undertake and complete a volunteer research experience during the _ semester (fall/spring) of 20 ., which will satisfy the research requirement for enrolling the SOLUR seminar course (BIO 289 SOLUR Apprentice) during this same semester. By signing below, we agree that the Student must complete a minimum of three hours of research per week for the full term of the semester, in order for this volunteer experience to qualify for the stated research requirement. The duties of the volunteer research experience are to be set by the Faculty Mentor in the spirit of one of SOLS’s undergraduate research credit courses (e.g. BIO 310, 495, 499 or equivalent) and are analogous to registering for a minimum of one credit hour of research.
