The Research Assistant Contract is an outline of your expectations and responsibilities for the given semester, as well as, for the next several years. If you are participating in research that will result in a grade, your grade will be based on how well you fulfill this agreement and the standards set by the EXAMPLE papers provided (if a paper is required). Often students will work with one professor for more than one semester; this is a way to plan out your research over time. This contract should also include your career and/or graduate school plans in order to help us help you with planning. You should also copy and paste the Student and Faculty Expectations from the appropriate Student Research Guidelines document as directed below (e.g., Research Experience Student Guidelines, Research Practicum Guidelines, Independent Study Guidelines, etc).

Ojibwe Artisan Creations (OAC) is an Indigenous-owned business in the very early stages of development. This position is for a university student, preferably in her/his junior or senior year at a university or community college, enrolled in a program the primary emphasis of which is in the field of marketing with a specialty in online marketing for Indigenous products. Demonstrated experience in undertaking online research in these fields of marketing is essential. The research assistant must be familiar with online all online marketing platforms and possess basic skills in computer programs such as Microsoft Word and be familiar with the use of email. For reasons of the personal safety of the student and BASA representatives, the student will work from home, must have a telephone and access to a computer.
